Open Questions
Why are you filling out this questionnaire?
I walked past your flyer while having a really shitty day, I do tend to have problems making friends, or well, actual friends, acquaintances and friends are not the same. Also, I’d like to see what exactly you’re up to and why you’re filming lmao.
How many "close friends" (by close friends I mean people that you see more than twice a month if they live in the tri-state area or if they are a long-distance friend that you speak with at least twice a month) do you have?
3 not including my family lmao
Do you listen to Billie Eilish? If so, why?
I do not
It's Saturday morning! What time are you up and what do you want to do with the day?
I work Saturday mornings, buttttt my next day off is Sunday, I like to wake up around 9, make my coffee, check the weather, and depending on the weather I either stay home and paint, or I find something random to do. I don’t plan my days ahead too much, I sorta let things happen if you know what I mean.
Have you ever had an existential crisis? How did it come about and what was your ultimate takeaway from it?
Yes, I have had multiple i believe. Throughout many phases in my life I feel like I lose sense of myself, or my “purpose”, but everytime im in a dark place once i allow myself to feel all the negative emotions that come with it, I recognize that we aren’t meant to always know the answer to everything. We won’t always feel happy, or content, we’re human and we’re meant to feel everything, it’s just part of the experience. You either grow from it or become bitter from it.
You are at a party and a topic comes up that you could go on and on and on about that nobody else knows anything about. What is the topic and would you talk about it or not talk about it?
Honestly, at a party I’m the person at the snack table. Lmao I tend to get overwhelmed with too many people I don’t know, so I sit in a corner somewhere and mind my business. But, I would say, if I were to speak on something, it’d be the shared human experience, it makes people uncomfortable to speak on how connected we all truly are, some just don’t want to be empathetic tbh. Idk this was a hard question.
What do you think about feminism? How did you come to that conclusion?
I think feminism is important, especially now, there’s so much pushback at this moment to keep women oppressed, to keep us from controlling our own bodies, I went to church a lot as a kid, and something that always stuck with me was that I wasn’t allowed to wear jeans bc it could be a “temptation” for the good Christian men around me, but as a CHILD, how am I responsible for your salvation? Women are blamed for doing too much, not doing enough, I think we need feminism to bring more of a balance into our lives.
If there was an alternate reality in which you had a debilitating, life-altering addiction, what would you be addicted to?
I’d be addicted to…….probably xanax, or coke. Maybe even alcohol. I don’t truly know, but I would say those sound more like my kinda addiction if I had one.
What are your dreams?
I would say my dreams are to be able to paint and create and just fuck around most of my days, to live comfortably enough to get to know the world around me, while also doing things I love. To get one of my pieces in the moma. For my cat Juno to live forever. To be able to take my mom around the world, show her all the things she hasn’t seen yet.
Do you believe in ethical consumerism or is it a drop in a giant well that has already been dug by multinational corporations so it doesn't matter?
It’s possible, if we were able to fight against all these huge corporations. But that takes a lot, it takes consistently making the better choice, which some people just can’t afford tbh.

Essay Question
Please describe a friend breakup you have gone through. If you haven't gone through a friend breakup, please explain why you think you have never gone through a friend breakup. Outline a major friendship in your life and explain why it is successful.
I had a best friend, we talked often, always made jokes, would go for super long walks together(my favorite thing to do), smoke and laugh. But this friend developed feelings for me, feelings I could not return. It was okay, until I was SA, and had to stop talking to this friend. It hurt a lot, in many different aspects, it still hurts now. But life always goes on. My bestest friend is a long distance friend, I lived in FL for 6 yrs of my childhood, and then came back to NY but we never lost contact. We don’t speak too often, but every time we do it’s like nothing has changed, I think it’s successful because of the space we give to one another, and yet I know that I can call them when things get tough. We laugh every time we do get to hang out, and we can talk about real life shit. It’s necessary to find that balance at times.
